Monika Wilkinson provides tutorial services to students who need organizational and academic support. She is an experienced educator who earned a Master’s degree in Learning and Teaching from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University in English Education. Ms. Wilkinson has worked in the field of education for the past fifteen years both as a middle school English teacher and an educational researcher.

Ms. Wilkinson’s research has focused largely on literacy development and the strategies that promote success for students with disabilities. She has worked on several projects that study the role of professional development for teachers and administrators in developing effective reading and writing instruction for all students.

Currently Ms. Wilkinson teaches middle school English language arts in the Westwood Public Schools. In the classroom she strives to engage students and foster a sense of confidence as readers and writers. She believes strongly in the importance of building relationships with students and is passionate about supporting them in finding success and becoming lifelong learners.

Ms. Wilkinson lives in Dedham, Massachusetts, with her husband and three young sons.
