Linda Blanco, LICSW, is a licensed clinical social worker with over 25 years of experience working with children, teens, parents, and families in both clinical and school settings. In addition to being a staff clinician at Weaver Center, Linda is currently Head of Counseling Services at The Carroll School, where she has worked with children with LD issues and their families for the past ten years.
Linda meets regularly with parent groups and has presented such topics as "Adolescent Development in the Child with Learning Challenges", "A Tour of Girl World", and "Why The Brain of The LD Child Has To Work Harder To Be Socially Skilled". Other specialties Linda has developed over the years, especially during her work at the Fallon Clinic in Worcester and Leominster, include ADHD, anxiety, depression, and eating disorders.
Ms. Blanco is a member of the National Association of Social Workers, the Academy of Certified Social Workers, and a variety of school counseling groups. She is interested in working with parents in groups or individually, as well as children and adolescents.
