Help your children complete their Summer Reading assignments and/or get a jump start on their Fall reading.  Weaver Center's Summer Reading Program supports students’ completion of required summer reading, including reading comprehension strategies and improving students’ skills to work independently.

Classes are offered in a small-group format, with no more than 4 students, allowing students’ individual goals to be met.  Students will read under the supervision of the tutor, who will answer questions and help keep the students on track.  Study skills, themes, character development and other topics will be discussed.   Research skills and using technology will also be addressed.  Students are welcome to bring any required written work, such as questions to be answered, in order to complete the assignment while at the class.

Enrolling students will have one individual meeting with the tutor prior to starting the program, to outline their objectives.    

Individual tutoring sessions are also available during the summer.
