Children with academic, social and/or emotional difficulties present challenges for the whole family.  Their difficulties and associated decrease in self-esteem can affect interactions with siblings and parents.  A Family Support Consultation is included as part of our Projective Testing during which parents can discuss any concerns not included on the client information forms and get strategies for reducing and coping with the stresses of changing family dynamics.  Two separate hours of family consultation are provided; additional family/parental support meetings can be scheduled as needed.

Parent Support Groups will resume in October 2010.
