BEVERLY WEINBERG, M. ED.
Beverly is a Therapeutic Tutor, Educational Liaison and Job Coach at the Weaver Center. She provides process oriented tutorial services to students who need organization and academic support. She works with schools to maximize the support for the student. Beverly has over 31 years of Special Education experience working with students at risk and students with learning differences.
Beverly has done educational testing for Initials and 3 year evaluations. She has chaired both reviews and 3 year evaluation meetings. She has been an Advocate for the students in her program at Lincoln- Sudbury Regional High School. This involved meeting with the different department heads and the mainstream teachers. As part of the English Department at LS, Beverly also taught an English course which was for students who struggled and needed a different way of learning. She also taught two English classes in her program that were tailored to the unique needs of the individual students for specialized instruction. As a Special Education teacher, she worked with small groups of students to achieve the specific goals of their IEP’s. These goals included time management, executive functioning, study skills, and working with the students to accomplish their individual social and emotional goals.
Beverly’s passion is working to ensure all children reach their potential and her attitude is to do whatever she can to make this happen, using the broad range of skills she has accumulated over her extensive career in education .
